10 Natural Ways to Get Rid of Acne Fast

#1 – Aloe Vera

Aloe vera gel is a great source of vitamins that help heal skin and get rid of acne scare. What’s great about aloe is that it’s gentle and soothing, so it works wonders on sensitive and easily irritated skin.

Although you can find aloe vera at your local pharmacy or drug store, getting it organic is usually best. Aloe plants are pretty easy to find and don’t require any maintenance that plants usually need. To use the gel from the plant, simply break off a small piece of one leaf, peel the outer part to have the gel burst out. Then, gently message the natural aloe gel on your damaged skin.

For best results, keep the gel on your face for at least 30 minutes before washing it off with water.

#2 – Baking Soda

A common household items with tons of uses, baking soda also has the ability to heal acne scars. Baking soda is made of sodium bicarbonate, which serves as an exfoliant for your skin when used as a cleansing scrub.

All you have to do is mix a couple teaspoons of baking soda with water until a paste forms. Then, simply massage the mix onto your skin where you see scars. Wash it off after a few minutes. Doing this a few times a week will do wonders for your acne.

#3 – Lemon

Lemon juice is a natural acid that helps fade scars and revitalize damaged skin. Squeeze the juice from a lemon into a small bowl, add a bit of water and apply to your sensitive skin. Use a cotton ball to dab over your scars and let it dry. Repeat this treatment a few times per week.

NOTE: Lemon juice will make your skin more susceptible to UV rays, so make sure to avoid heavy sunlight if you choose to use lemon for your treatment.

#4 – Honey

Another great natural acne remedy is honey. Much like aloe vera, it is best to use raw honey, not the processed that can be found at most local grocery stores. Raw honey CAN actually be found in your grocery store, in the organic section if they have one. If not, hit up your local farmer’s market for the real good stuff.

With the honey, simply massage it over your damaged spots and let nature do its thing. If you have ground cinnamon lying around the house, then feel free to mix a teaspoon of cinnamon per 2 teaspoons of honey for added power. No real limitations on this treatment.

#5 – Vitamin E

With Vitamin E oil, either purchase the gel in a bottle form from grocery store, or purchase the gel capsule. All you will have to do is poke a hole in the capsule and squeeze the oil out of it. With the oil, apply it directly to your acne spots for best results.

#6 – Sugar

If you’re feeling creative, make yourself a homemade sugar scrub. Sugar cane contains an alpha hydroxy acid that helps diminish damaged skin and encourages regeneration. There are many ways to use sugar for your skin care.

We recommend mixing raw organic cane sugar with organic olive oil and lemon juice. Make sure the scrub is not too watery and has a nice consistency that will allow it to stay on your skin. Leave for about 15 minutes and follow it up with another good natural moisturizer.

If you’re skin is very very sensitive, do not use sugar as that could irritate your skin even more!

#7 – Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the best natural skin moisturizers out there. Scoop 1/4 teaspoon of organic coconut oil (you can find this easily at any decent-sized grocery store) and melt on your hands. Using your oiled finger tips, rub it onto your scarred skin.

No need to wash away the coconut oil, because the vitamins and essential fatty acids continue to heal your skin as long as it stays on your face. Do not put too much, or else it could drip all over your clothes and everything else around you.

#8 – Potato Juice

Another great natural skin cleanser that is rich in vitamins and minerals is potato juice. Use the juice of an organic potato to get rid of your pimples by slicing a few slices of potatoes and placing them directly on the designated areas. Ideally, leave the potato slices on your face for around 15 minutes before rinsing it with lukewarm water. Do it once daily for best results.

#9 – Cucumber

Cucumbers are not only super hydrating, they contains Vitamin A, C and magnesium which are all amazing for promoting healthy skin. Similar to the potato juice, slice an organic cucumber in thin slices and lay the slices over your pimpled areas. After 30 minutes, remove the cucumber slices and wash off with cool water. This can also be done daily.

#10 – Rosehip Seed Oil

Not a very well-known ingredient, but has incredible healing properties for damaged skin. For maximum results, use an organic cold-pressed oil and apply on your face. Very similar to coconut oil. Let your skin soak in the vitamins. Do not put too much so that you don’t make a mess everywhere!
